Privacy Policy

Arteaga's Food Center ("Arteaga's," "we," "us") is a family-owned grocery store, taqueria, and carniceria with locations across Northern California. This policy describes what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email us at info@arteagas.com.

We collect information in three ways:

• Weekly ad signup. When you subscribe to our weekly ads and specials, we collect your first name, last name, and email address.
• Catering quote requests. When you request a catering quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event date and details, and for deliveries the delivery address you provide.
• Automatically.Like most websites, we receive technical information when you visit: your IP address (used for site security and to prevent abuse of our forms), pages viewed, and general device and browser information collected by our analytics services (described below). If you use the store finder on our locations page and grant your browser permission, we use your device's location once to show nearby stores; we do not store it.

We use the information above only to:

• Send you the weekly ad and promotional emails or text messages you signed up for.
• Respond to and fulfill your catering quote request.
• Keep the website secure and prevent automated abuse.
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it, using aggregate analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond those listed here.

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic; it sets cookies that assign your browser an anonymous identifier. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page performance without cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on; the site works fully without cookies.

Because our analytics do not track you across other websites, the site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

We share information only with the service providers that run this website on our behalf:

• Resend: stores our email list and delivers the weekly ad and catering emails.
• Vercel: hosts the website and provides its analytics.
• Google: provides Google Analytics and the maps on our locations pages.
• Paycom: handles job applications if you apply through the link on our employment page (Paycom's own privacy policy applies there).

Each provider may use your information only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

• Unsubscribe any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text message.
• Delete your information. Email info@arteagas.com and we will remove you from our mailing list and delete the contact information we hold about you.
• Location and cookies. You can deny or revoke the browser location permission and block cookies without losing access to any part of the site.

We keep your contact information while you remain subscribed to our emails, and catering request details only as long as needed to fulfill your event and our normal business records. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, it is removed from our mailing list.

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to how we use already-collected information will be announced by email to subscribers.
